A Little About St John USVI
St. John is unique among the Virgin Islands in that two thirds of the island is national park land. Much of this is attributed to Laurance Rockefeller who dedicated over five thousand acres to the U.S. Government to establish the Virgin Islands National Park. St. John is a true gem in the Caribbean with crystal clear waters, lush green mountains and gorgeous white sand beaches.
St. John is the smallest of the three main islands measuring about 9 miles long and 5 miles wide. The climate averages between summer temperatures of 82 to 92 degrees to winter temperatures of 75 to 85 degrees with wonderful year round Tradewinds. The average rainfall is approximately 45 inches a year with the rainy season occurring in September, October and November and April, May and June. Overall the weather is a perfect year “sunny and beautiful”.
